The Longslade Trail is the first official MTB trail at Woburn and is located in Aspley Woods. Typically referred to as ‘Woburn’, Aspley Woods occupies an area of over 800 acres of beautiful woodland situated not far from Milton Keynes. You’ll find the woods located between Woburn and Woburn Sands in Bedfordshire.

The Longsdale trail is a red graded circular loop and is aimed at intermediate to advanced mountain bike riders. The route consists of a mix of singletrack, berms and corners, exposed-root sections, short but stiff climbs, technical descents and the odd (roll able) drop-off. There’s enough on the trail to challenge every level of rider. The trails can be ridden all year round and drain well in the winter.

For riders who want to push their skills head to the Woburn jump park area where you’ll find dirt jumps, tables, gaps and downhill runs. All runs are clearly indicated and graded one, two or three (one being the easiest, three hardest).

A permit is required to ride Woburn Bile Trails at a cost of £5.00. These can be purchased on the day from the ranger or in advance online. Post ride, head to Stripes Bikes and Bakes for coffee and cake!.
