Description 

A longer ride, using the Trans Pennine Trail, Alan Newton Way and the Middlewood Way we’ll finish up at the small cafe at Bailey’s Trading Post on the Macclesfield canal, though nearby are the Boars Head inn and the Anson engine museum. And you could continue on a short & quiet, albeit rough track into Lyme Park. Almost all off-road.
Meet at 10:15 Love Lane park, Heaton Norris
Distance: 21 miles with couple of short hills (easily walkable).
Finish time: around 4:30pm.

 

For all these rides, numbers are limited, so to book your places or for queries about the rides, email cycling@slheatons.org. Just let us know how many adults and children will be coming and on which trips. Bring a roadworthy bike and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Looking forward to seeing you!
