Welcome to Teams Wheelers, we're all about miles and smiles!

Join our qualified ride leaders for a gentle cycle along some of the region's best traffic-free cycle paths, stopping off for refreshments along the way. We'll stick to some of the most-used commuter routes so you can improve your confidence and get the knack for navigating Gateshead and Newcastle. Rides should take approximately 2-3 hours including a break but if you need to finish by a particular time please inform a ride leader. We ride as a small group at a very relaxed pace with plenty of stops to take in the view, and if you enjoy yourself we would love to welcome you to the club!

What we can provide you:

• Use of our club bikes, helmets, gloves, and jackets free of charge
• A safe ride guided by qualified cycle leaders and first aiders
• Improved knowledge and confidence of cycling in the area

What you need to bring with you:

• Comfortable clothing - nothing too baggy, but no need for spandex!
• Sports shoes or trainers
• Emergency contact details 

We meet from 9:30am and depart at 10am, there is no need to book in advance please just turn up at Victoria Road Methodist Church, Gateshead NE8 2SZ. If you're arriving by car please park in the Teams Club car park just around the corner.
