Women of Southampton - History Ride

Description

To celebrate Cycling UK's Women's Festival of Cycling, join us for a free historical cycling tour of the places associated with the famous (and not so famous) women who called Southampton home and contributed to its rich history.

Starting at Southampton Common, we will travel down to the city centre and then across the Itchen Bridge out to Netley. Stopping at Queen Victoria Country Park for tea and cake, we will then head back to Southampton city centre for 4pm.

Please bring suitable clothing as we will be stopping fairly frequently - so sun cream, light clothing, but also a jacket in case the weather turns poor. Please also bring water and a replacement inner tube. Places are limited, so please book to ensure a space here.

Cost
Free
Location
Meeting outside the Cafe at the Hawthorn's Urban Wildlife Centre in Southampton Common.
