Starting at the Larick Centre in Tayport, the ride will follow NCN Route 1 over the Tay Road Bridge to Dundee, then follow the river downstream through Dundee Port to Broughty Ferry and on to Monifieth, where there will be a stop for refreshments before returning to Tayport. The route is on shared-use paths and quiet streets and all of it is paved, so any kind of bike will be suitable.
