Big Bike Revival
Description

Do you want to get out on your bike with your little one, but just a little apprehensive? We can help!

In partnership with Cycling UK, we are offering introductory sessions where you can practice cycling with your little one or use our demo dolls to get a feel for the weight on the back before trying, and even borrow a bike seat or trailer.Over the 2 hour sessions you’ll practice starting, stopping and manoeuvring your bike with a child bike seat or trailer attached.

Our bike seats are suitable from 9 months, and our trailers from 12 months.

Please wear comfortable clothing and dress yourself and your baby appropriately for the weather.

Book a place in advance by calling Aggie on 0191 230 2273 or emailing aggie@parentingnortheast.org.uk (at least 24 hours before an activity is due to take place). If you don't have your own child bike seat/ trailer make sure you tell Aggie that you need one! Please allow extra time to have your bike set up with this before an activity starts.Due to limited places booking is compulsory.

If you don’t have your own bike, then you can book one for a 'Discounted Parenting North East' rate of £5 by contacting the hires centre at The Cycle Hub 0191 276 7250 (this needs to be done at least 24 hours before an activity is due to take place)
