Second Cycles opened its doors in August 2013 with one main goal. Stop bicycles in the local area being landfilled .Whether it be through metal and rubber recycling or putting the bikes back on the road, that was the objective.

Since then Second Cycles goals have been somewhat added to, we've taken part in employment and training initiatives, given bikes away to people who wouldn't otherwise have access to a bike, provided an affordable safe option to buy second hand, and with repairs, servicing, parts and fitting prices kept as low as they can be Second Cycles has quickly become an affordable one stop shop for everything cycle related.
