Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of Fleet Cycling will be held this Wednesday April 20th, 19:45 for 20:00 in the Hart Leisure Centre, Studio 1.
We invite all members to join in and have a say as to how your club and its rides are run.
The committee will be happy to answer questions about the annual report and any other issues. We urge attendees to read the report before coming to the meeting. To save on printing and paper costs, there will be limited hardcopies available at the meeting.
The annual report and the agenda, plus minutes of the previous meeting (and all committee meetings) are available on the Administration page of our website fleetcycling.org.uk.
Important notes
Our Safeguarding Officer (formerly Welfare/Covid Officer), Kaye Hicks, has stepped down so we do need a volunteer for this role. This is an opportunity to get involved and have some input to Committee Meetings. Duties are specified on this page of the Cycling UK website and include dealing with complaints (there have been none!) and safeguarding children (there have been none!) - so are not onerous, but we must fill this role.
Our Kit Master, Colin Waters, has also stepped down, so we also need a volunteer for this role. This is not an official Cycling UK role, and has become a ‘watching brief’ ,as members will be ordering directly from the Stolen Goat website - you will not need to hold stock or make stock available to try on.
All other officer roles are up for grabs as they are every year - Chairperson, Treasurer, Rides Secretary, Publicity and Social, and Webmaster - so if you can help out please put your name forward!
Discounted kit will be for sale at this meeting
Because of the switch to a new kit supplier, Stolen Goat, we have a few items of the existing Le Col kit that we are selling at significant discount. They’re all new and, with one exception, still with labels attached. The design is almost indistinguishable from the new kit, so this is your chance to grab a real bargain. Also, this kit is owned by the club so any purchases go to our bank account and not to Le Col.
