The Harp Road Club was founded in 1938. In the past the Harp RC was a thriving cycle racing club with members participating in both road races and time trials as well as promoting several events each year.

Now the club's energies are restricted to promoting the well known early season reliability ride, the Harp Hilly Hundred, with proceeds from the event donated to charity and meeting up for monthly club runs.
