In Hertfordshire there are four different member groups covering roughly the West, North (Stevenage & Hitchin area - http://www.stevenagectc.org.uk), East (The Stort Valley including Bishop's Stortford & Harlow) and South (including St.Albans & Hatfield - http://www.southhertsctc.org.uk ).

We are a leisure club; the County's Member Groups organise Sunday and/or midweek rides. We also have occasional car assisted rides and weekends away. All rides have a nominated meeting point and refreshment stops. Some members will ride part of a ride, others will come for whole ride. Each group offers a different range of rides, you do not have ride with the group nearest to where you live.

We hold a clubroom every Thursday (except the second Thursday of each month) at Colney Heath Village Hall (AL4 0PQ). We start at 8.00pm and have a very varied programme with refreshments.

Hertfordshire CTC organises a birthday ride at the end of July when members of all the County's member groups meet and ride together.

We know the best lanes in our area and some of our regulars travel out of London to relax and ride with us. You will need to be reasonably fit to enjoy a full club ride - get in touch with one of our contacts if you are unsure which standard of ride would suit you best. Riding with the right group can be much more fun than riding on your own. If you intend to join us for the first time please contact us in advance so that we can look out for you.

You can come for a few rides as a guest to see if what we do is what you are looking for. If you then choose to ride with us regularly you must join the CTC. You do not have to live in 'our area' to come out with us.
