Glasgow Gals is a women's only cycling club based at Free Wheel North on Glasgow Green. You do not need to have your own bike to join the club and we don't have minimum speed requirements. We like to ride bikes, eat cake and generally have fun on our bikes.
Glasgow Gals run social rides, beginners rides, road rides, mountain bike rides, maintenance sessions, coaching sessions and skills sessions. We offer our members the opportunity to try out other disciplines of cycling, and help them to look after and maintain their bikes . We aim to help women become confident on their bike so that they cycle more and feel comfortable going out on rides. Our regular Social ride runs on Thursday evenings from April to October, and we have various other rides on out club calendar, on weekdays and weekends.
In 2018 we won the Scottish Cycling Club of the Year Award and in November 2021 we won the Sporting Champion Award at the Scottish Women in Sport Awards.
Glasgow Gals Cycling Club are a Cycling UK affiliated group.
