The Cowley Road Condors are a vibrant and friendly road cycling club, based in Oxford, close to the city centre. The club strives to be the friendliest sports club in Oxford. We are inclusive, community focused and have a committed, yet fun, outlook towards club riding. Please note we are adults only (18+) but can point you in the right direction for youth riding and racing. We put a particular focus on expanding our female membership. Cycling has been a male-dominated sport for too long and we're really keen to help change that. As well as women specific board positions we've also formed up a Women's committee to work with organisations like British Cycling on their excellent women's cycling initiatives. The Condors are a non-profit club affiliated with British Cycling (BC) and Cycling Time-Trials (CTT). We host numerous weekly group rides throughout the season for our members, providing a wide variety of group road rides covering all abilities. We’re active in the local race and time-trial scenes, hosting our own events and encouraging cyclist development. The club are active in the local community; promote Oxford’s cycling culture and provide support to local causes.
