Gilly's Emporium - a Bring and Buy Stall

Too many cycling clothes and other cycling items in your wardrobe and cupboards? Are you downsizing your collection? Bring them along to the AGM and donate them to the club at Gilly's Emporium.

Looking for some pre-loved clothing? Then Gilly's Emporium may have something that appeals. Items are available for a donation to club funds; no sensible offer refused!

Punctures ‘R’ Us

News of a service offered by Adrian Turner.

In Adrian's words:

Tired of paying too much for replacement inner tubes?  Unhappy about throwing away your punctured inner tubes after just one flat?

Why not donate your punctured inner tubes to the club and then you can buy a fully repaired tube* at the AGM stall for a bargain price.  Put it in your saddlebag and never be without a spare tube again.

Help reduce landfill waste by reusing inner tubes that still have life left in them and just need a patch.

If you repair your own inner tubes, then this isn't aimed at you; but if you tend not to bother patching your tubes (or don't know how), then don't waste them!  All you need to do is:

1) Dig out all your pre-used tubes from that old drawer / bottom of your saddlebag / pannier
2) Give them to me, at least a week before the AGM

3) When you are at the AGM, visit Gilly's Emporium; if you see an inner tube of the size you need for your bike, buy it** - all funds will go towards the club.
*I've been repairing my own inner tubes for years, and will test all of the tubes I patch.

**Or you can buy several.

To arrange delivery of your punctured tubes, please contact me via my email

If you have not yet let Alice know you are coming to the AGM, please do so now to help with catering requirements.

Your Committee.
