Social Ride and AGM for Manchester & District CTC

Social Ride and AGM for Manchester & District CTC

Manchester & District CTC, your local group within Cycling UK, is holding its AGM on Saturday 14th May 2022.  The meeting will be held at St Cross Church, Clayton and starts at 2:30.  For details of the meeting, including where it is, how to get there, the agenda and previous minutes, please see our website.

We are also having a Social Ride, introducing the new Manchester Sightseer.  Meet for a coffee at St Cross Church at 9:30, ready to set off at 10:30.  We'll explore the city centre to see just how cycling-friendly it is now.  Manchester is a fascinating city with a rich cultural heritage, and we'll show you the sights, or at least some of them.  We'll end up at a suitable cafe for lunch in good time for the AGM, where you can tell us how much you enjoyed the ride, and how we can do this again.

The ride will be tailored to the capabilities of our riders.  Any bike will do!  You can be human-powered ior on an eBike, it can be a road bike, a gravel bike, or a mountain bike.  We'll be using canal towpaths, former railway paths, and on-street cycling facilities.  We leave whether you wear a helmet or not up to you.
