Northumbria Police Incident Reporting Website

Northumbria Police has launched the following a website for reporting incidents.  One of our members had video footage of a close pass that they downloaded to this website and within two days was informed that the driver would be charged. 

The police have to contact the driver within 14 days of the incident.  The driver then has 28 days to reply.  The person reporting the incident has to be prepared to give evidence in court if necessary.

It is easy to do and if more cyclists inform police of incidents then driving may improve.
