For very obvious reasons, there's not a great deal happening with our club at the moment. Last week should’ve been the annual 2Up TT from Bilsborrow but along with all other events for April, May & June, it was cancelled.
Fortunately we are enjoying a prolonged dry spell, following a miserably wet Winter. With a large number of people, myself included, on furlough, we have had plenty of opportunity to get out on our bikes for our daily exercise.
Murphy’s law kicked in during the publication of the latest Cycle magazine, featuring articles on club riding. Just as the club season was getting into it's stride, it was stopped in its tracks. I hope you all enjoyed reading the article and will come out on a few club rides once we are able to once again.
We will still be publishing our club mag towards the end of the year. Yes, I know it’s a long way off but seeing as how lots of us are furloughed from our work or just confined to barracks, we might as well put the time we have to good use. Why not drop our mag editors a line with a few words about a tour that you had sometime in the past? I’m sure you will have a wealth of cycling tales to tell.
