A Very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all.
As usual, we have a hiatus on club rides during the festive season so there are no club rides organised for December.
Our Ride Organisers and Ride Leaders have been busy though, planning the ride programme for 2024.
As a result, we have four rides organised for January so, hopefully, at least one of them will tempt you out to get the legs turning again after the December layoff..
Sunday January 7th. @ 10.00am - 20 miles
Jim Law gets the new year off to a start with a 20 mile outing.
Usual Non-stop rules apply - the aim is to complete the ride in 2 hours so, averaging 10mph.
Not too strenuous for the first outing of the year...
No coffee/food stops along the way.
Option at the end of the ride to use the Garden Centre for coffee/snacks or just go home and make it a short day!
The ride will loop through Drybridge, Old Rome, Bogend and Craigie.

Sunday January 14th. @ 11.00am till Midday - Your choice of miles
The first DIY event of the year.
Nominated meeting point is The Bothy cafe at Auchincruive.
Just be there between 11.00 and mid-day to meet up with like minded cyclists for coffee/snacks and a chat.
Choose your own route there and your own route back at whatever pace makes you happy, to make the day as long or as short as you desire ...
DIY events are a good opportunity for non-members to come along and chat to club members to get a feel for what we offer as a club.
No registration required for DIY events.
Just turn up if you feel like it.
Saturday January 20th. @ 10.00am - 18 miles
A short(ish) ride to ease us back into cycling after any Festive season excesses...
Note carefully - this is a Saturday event!
Eunice B. heads out via the Corton Road, through Dalrymple and on to Maybole.
Lunch stop at the Wee Corner cafe in Maybole before returning to Rozelle via Culroy on the high road.

Sunday 28th. January @ 10.00am - 35 miles.
Keith Hull takes us on a loop through Monkton and Ochiltree to Gemmell's Garden Centre for lunch.
Return to Ayr via Drongan and Dalrymple.
