Sunday October 1st: Epping Forest Ride, led by Tim Swinburn

22 miles, +1,300 ft climbing, 82% unpaved.
This route is ideal for gravel bikes, touring bikes, hybrids and and mountain bikes. 
Meet at Bowling Green, Stevenage Old Town at 10.00am to load bikes; drive to Epping Forest (30 miles, 40 minutes journey time). Park at Pillow Mounds Car Park
(Rushey Plain, Waltham Abbey, Loughton IG10 4AE).
Approx. 3 hours moving time, plus time at refreshment stops.

Off-road Starter Ride: 10.00am Saturday October 7th, Springfield House led by Tim Swinburn and Loyd Davies

Our objective is to help riders improve their safety and enjoyment when riding on loose or unpaved surfaces. This is not just for off-road riders or mountain bikers; the session should be helpful for anyone that rides on poorly maintained lanes or cycle paths, or on bridleways or towpaths.
Half-an hour briefing, then a 7 mile ride (with guidance) along local cycle paths, streets, byways, farm tracks, bridleways and quiet lanes. Nothing too technical or challenging.
The ride is suitable for hybrids, touring bikes, gravel bikes and mountain bikes.

Sunday October 8th: Lea Valley Ride via train to Kings Cross led by Dave Hall

Suitable for mountain, gravel, hybrid & touring bikes. 
Travel to Kings Cross by train, train times are Hitchin 08-30, Stevenage 08-36, arrive at Kings Cross 9-02.
48 miles, mix of towpaths, cycle paths and residential streets.
Lots of places to stop for a drink & food on route.

Sunday October 21st. London Canals, Parks and Docks Ride led by Tim Swinburn

23.3 miles, +750ft climbing, 95% paved.
A mixture of canal towpaths, cycle paths and residential streets. 
This route is ideal for touring bikes, hybrids, gravel bikes and mountain bikes. There will be no mud.
Meet by ticket office at Stevenage train station; buy an Off-peak Return ticket to Kings Cross.
Catch 10:36 train from Stevenage to Kings Cross; 25 minute journey time.
Approx. 3 to 3.5 hours moving time, plus time at refreshment stops.
