This will be a gently paced, friendly ride in two groups - one women-only and the other mixed-gender - from the centre of Sheffield to Old Moor Nature Reserve between Elsecar and Boulton-upon-Dearne.

Our route will be largely off-road on reasonable surfaces (suitable for all but a true road/racing bike) following NCN 6 and 67 much of the time. There is a good cafe at Old Moor as well as picnic tables for lunch and we will also take the opportunity to look around the Reserve. We'll aim to return to Barker's Pool by 6.30pm but anther option is to return by train from either Elsecar or Boulton.
