Bike Week
Description

This is a fundraising event for the Royal British Legion and the Royal British Legion Industries.

The event commemorates the 75th anniversaries of both VE Day and VJ Day thus the main ride being 75 miles in length. There is an option for those wishing to complete the shorter distance of 50 miles. Both of these rides take in the beautiful rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds along mostly quiet country lanes and roads. There is an opportunity for a refreshment break at The Post and Pantry cafe at Donnington on Bain which will be opened especially for us.

There is also a families ride of 25 miles for those who wish go try out cycling and for the not very energetic who prefer a more sedate ride. The route for this ride is extremely flat with just a few very slight rises.

There is no entry fee but it is hoped that riders make a donation at the registration point.

Pre ride drinks, tea, coffee and juice will be available and refreshments will be laid out at the end of the ride when participants can sit down, relax, eat, recover and chat with other riders.
