Discover Bristol with Bristol Cycling

Bike Week
Description

Bristol Cycling's "Discover Bristol" rides are intended to help people to become familiar with their way around Bristol's network of routes intended for cycling. This ride will explore two of Bristol's radial cycle routes, namely the Concorde Way and the Frome Valley Greenway, heading to UWE in north Bristol.

We shall meet outside the Arnolfini gallery near Prince Street bridge on Bristol's harbourside, and then navigate on off-road routes through the city centre to St. Werburghs. We shall then cycle up the Concorde Way up the edges of Lockleaze and Filton to a café near UWE (University of the West of England). After optional tea and buns we will brush the edge of the UWE campus and then descend back to the city through the Stoke Park estate, through Eastville Park and underneath the M32 motorway, back to the harbourside.

Our pace will be gentle. This ride will be suitable for novices and young people.

There is masses of car parking (too much!) near the Arnolfini. The ride is free and there is no need to book - just turn up (15 minutes early would be good).
