Ruby Isaac

Ruby Isaac is part of Cycling UK's 100 Women in Cycling 2019 list for inspiring riders old and young with her YouTube and Instagram cycling videos.

Ruby Isaac might only be 11 years old but she’s already having a big impact in the cycling world (and beyond!).

Through the large and growing audience of her YouTube and Instagram cycling videos, Ruby has reached huge numbers of viewers and has inspired countless people to take to their bikes.

Her skills and tricks on rollers have resulted in international fame and last year she filmed with comedian Steve Harvey in Hollywood, as well as appearing on the US version of 'Little Big Shots' and being a junior reporter at the Tour of California.

She is now a proud advocate for Trek-Segafredo and can add 'cycling fundraiser' to her palmarès, having completed the short route of the Santini Stelvio Gran Fondo and raising £4,100 in the process.

I love it when people say they have watched my videos and then gone out on their bike.

Ruby said: “One day I would love to be a professional cyclist. This year, I am travelling to Belgium to ride the first stage of the Tour de France with the awesome ladies from Donnons Des Elles Au Velo.

“I love it when people say they have watched my videos and then gone out on their bike.

"You can meet so many awesome people and ride in so many amazing places. Whatever bike you ride, it is always really good fun.”

Ruby was nominated for 100 Women in Cycling by Karla Kostka, who said: “For a young girl she inspires so many people and does some great things for charity. We could all learn a lot from her. Her passion for cycling is infectious.”
