A fellow Breeze champion nominated Mel in the 100 Women in Cycling and said: “Mel inspired me to become a HSBC UK Breeze champion as she gives so much encouragement that I wanted to give something back. 

“She is inclusive to all ladies joining her rides irrespective of ability, offering support and guidance. Her rides are fun and sociable, and Mel has increased access for ladies to cycling, with numbers of cyclists in our area growing as a result.”
