Eve is an incredibly brave young person who was also nominated for our 100 Women in Cycling this year. She was our youngest nominee!

Eve, with her parents Dave and Sarah and the Wirral Wheelers, organised a big ride on the 29 April in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Eve has had problems with two faulty valves in her heart since she was a baby. At 12 she needed replacement valves, and while the operation went successfully there was a series of complications and as result Eve has had to go through months of surgeries and long hospital stays.

Eve has raised a total of £2,500 for the hospital, and her parents and the Wirral Wheelers are extremely proud of her for fighting on despite all the problems and setbacks.
