How to add content to the group’s publicity page (quick guide)

Each group has a single publicity (home) page but also has the ability to create the additional types of content: 

• Group child page – these are static ever-present pages, for example a page showing off the group’s jerseys and where to purchase them, or some additional history about the group. 
• Event – these can include one-off or weekly repeating rides, or other events such as AGMs or training. 
• Group post - this could be an article with pictures about a ride that recently happened, or notice that a meeting like an AGM is about to happen. 

To add content: 

1. Login to https://www.cyclinguk.org. 
2. Locate the group’s home page. 
3. Click on the Nodes tab. 
4. You are presented with a list of content for the group where you can edit or delete existing content. Alternatively, click on the + Add new content button. 
5. Depending on your member role you can add one or more of the following: 
   1. Group node (Group child page) 
   2. Group node (Event) 
   3. Group node (Group post) 
6. Click on the type of content you want to create. 
7. Continue to complete the page adding as much detail as possible.
